All eyes are on Diana, now the family's only hope for redemption; New York's most notorious, Henry Schoonmaker, the flame Elizabeth never extinguished; the seductive Penelope Hayes, poised to claim all that her best friend left behind, including Henry; and even Elizabeth's scheming former maid, Lina Broud, who discovers that while money matters and breeding counts, gossip is the new worth millions. As old friends become rivals, Manhattan's most dazzling socialites find their futures threatened by haunting whispers from the past. In this crazy and addicting sequel to The Luxe, nothing is more dangerous than a scandal or a few.
This book was just as addicting as the first book in this series. This book is particularly interesting because you get an inside look into Diana, rather than Elizabeth in the first book. You get to see how they are both similar and different. This is a very girly, dramatic book, and I loved it.
