Fever

      Fever, the second book in the Chemical Garden trilogy by Lauren DeStefano, continues where the first book left off. Gabriel and Rhine have finally escaped, but they have been caught in the web of a ring mistress in a twisted carnival. They must attempt to escape again, whilst still being pursued by Rhine's old father-in-law, who will stop at nothing to get Rhine back. Rhine and Gabriel must face the evils of their world in order to make it back to Manhattan, where, hopefully, Rowan, Rhine's twin brother, will be waiting. Rhine and Gabriel are living in a world where time is precious, freedom scarce, and chaos impending. Will they survive?
     This book was full of plot twists and foreshadowing. Rhine and Gabriel have to do whatever they can to survive. I think this book was pretty good. Some parts were a little confusing, but it still had a good plot. I would recommend this book if you liked the first one.
