Ghost By:Jason Reynolds

The book that I am reading is Ghost By Jason Reynolds. The genre of this book is Realistic fiction because everything that happened in the book can happen in real life. Ghost is a kid who has problems with getting in lots of trouble in his school and outside of school and one day when Ghost was walking home from school he decided to make a quick stop at a track practice and watch for a couple of minutes because he had nothing else to do. When he was sitting there he got bored and wanted to see if he could keep up with them when they ran so when they lined up for a race he lined up to but on the grass not one the track and when they took off Ghost blew all of them out even their fastest guy on their team. The coach noticed it then walked over to ghost and asked him if he would like to join the team and run for them. Ghost turned down the offer and told him he was a basketball player but then the coach gave him his card and said If you change your mind give me a call. Ghost then put the card in his backpack and walked home to his mother.The next day at school Ghost had gotten into a fight and was taken down the principals office and was suspended for the rest of the day and the Principal made him call his mother but instead he called the track coach and said it was his uncle  and they made a deal The track coach wouldn't tell his mother that he didn't get in trouble only if he joined the track team and that's where the fun happens.
         I would recommend this book to people who like sports.This is one of my favorite book that I read so far.I really liked it because you don't know whats going to happen next and keeps you guessing and the author Jason Reynolds is one of my favorite author.One other thing I really like about this book is that the book is that I didn't want to stop reading it.
