Jenny Han, in my opinion is the reincarnation of Sarah Dessen. They both have the witty main characters, the wonderful romance, the compelling plot, and of course a lot of drama. Lara Jean is a very unique character due to her extreme friendliness which is very refreshing because usually the main characters have their undesirable moments. But Lara Jean is a constant example of everything you want to be, but probably will never be. Please try this series out. It is beyond words great.
