The Hunger Games By Suzanne Collins

What would you do if the only way you could survive was to kill a friend or loved one? Would you die for them? Luckily Katniss did not have to choose. She didn’t know any of the other opponents chosen for the reaping except for Peeta, a young boy that Katniss may or may not like. So far it seems like her feelings are tied.
You are probably wondering what the reaping is. In the book, two people, a boy and a girl, from each district, are randomly chosen to go into a dome and fight to the death. It is like whoever is “last man standing is the winner,” but literally is. This might sound awful, but the treatments and rewards you get are amazing. So, would you want to go into the reaping knowing you would have a rich and wealthy life if you survive?
