Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher

Have you ever been bullied, or someone has been rude to you? Well Hannah Baker has, and she wrote a list of every person who was ever mean to her. Then she said all of the reasons on 13 different cassette tapes. She sent the tapes  off to the first person on her list, and told him or her  that if they didn't continue passing them on she would have the second set of tapes sent out to the whole school. When she was finished she killed herself. The tapes ended up with Clay Jensen, he had the biggest crush on her, and to know that she killed herself because of him hurts him even more. Clay jensen receives the tapes and listens to them in the streets of Crestmont, throughout one night. He remembers everything about her from the day she cut her hair, to where she use to work, and all of her friends, although  it's not like she had many. Now he wonders what he did wrong and wishes he could turn back the clocks to save her.
The book Thirteen Reasons Why, by Jay Asher is one of the most interesting books I have ever read. This fast pace book always has something going on that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Through all of the twists and turns it takes, it always comes back to what Clay Jensen ever did to Hannah Baker. This book is realistic fiction, and is so easy to connect to the world, and school. I recommend this book to teenage girls or boys who like action, and mystery. Although it may be hard to handle the feelings that Hannah Baker had. Join Clay and Hannah on their journey, and find out the truth... find out why.
