Do you like zombies, blood and gore, and survival? If you like any of these then The Walking Dead Volume 1:Days Gone Bye by Robert Kirkman & Tony Moore is for you. The genre of this book is graphic novel. The main character is Rick who wakes up in a hospital after being in a coma from a firefight. The hospital he wakes up in is in Atlanta, Georgia. He finds a family that tells him what is going on and why the zombies have taken over. Rick then goes to the police station to get a uniform, guns, and soon after finds a horse that he rides to Atlanta. He has to get rescued by a guy that lives with Ricks family. Rick lives with them as they try to survive. What will happen to Rick and the rest of the group? Read The Walking Dead Volume 1:Days Gone Bye to find out.In my opinion The Walking Dead Volume 1:Days Gone Bye is a very dramatic and interesting novel. The pictures show the intense life of these survivors. This book is mainly for boys because of all the gruesomeness and blood. The characters are relatable to because of some of the choices you would have to make in, and if there ever was, a zombie apocalypse. I think this is a very good book and I highly recommend that you read it.
