As long as she can remember, Isabel, (Belly), her mother and her older brother Steven have spent the summer on the beach with her mother’s best friend, Susannah, and Susannah’s two sons. Belly starts the summer she turns 16 with the same excitement with which she has approached all the others. She can’t wait to see Jeremiah and Conrad again, to head to the beach for parties, to swim midnight laps in the pool, to eat Susannah’s terrific cooking. But she soon realizes upon arrival, something is different. Part of it is her; Susannah notes that Belly has “blossomed” since last summer, and Belly doesn't know if it’s just her imagination, or if Jeremiah and Conrad’s teasing has gained a new flirtatiousness.

I absolutely loved this book. Its the perfect summer read and you wont be able to put the book down. It took me about 3 days to read this 300 something page book, and I was obsessed with every second of it. You'll have major crushes on Jeremiah and Conrad, and wish you could have them both. This book is one that every girl should read.
