I Heard the Owl Call my Name

Amid the grandeur of the remote pacific northwest stands kingcome a village from ancient times. Its so old it was founded by the 2 brothers left after the great flood. The Native americans who still live there call it Quee. It's a place of natural richness and the people's primary food sources are hunting and fishing.
But the old culture is being infected by new culture, housing and alcoholism. Kingcome's younger generation is disenchanted and alienated from its heritage. Now a boy named Mark Brian is going on a journey of discovery that can teach him and us about life, death and the transforming power of love.
