Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins

Imagine that you live in a country where the majority of the citizens have rebelled against the Capitol and you have been chosen as their leader. You leave your new home and your family to destroy the Capitol in war. As you are on your mission, you lose soldiers one by one and hope that you aren't the next. You keep pushing yourself even when you want to give up, so that you can be victorious. It may seem like you have gone through a lot but the fight has only just begun...

This riveting story is the third book in The Hunger Games series entitled Mockingjay. After being a part of the ruthless Hunger Games twice, Katniss saw that there was an uprising started amongst the citizens of Panem. The citizens traveled to the unknown District 13 where they could plot their rebellion against the Capitol. Katniss rose up among the rebels and proclaimed herself as the Mockingjay. She wanted to overthrow the Capitol, kill President Snow, and save Peeta from imprisonment.

This book was definitely my favorite out of all three. As I read this story, my heart raced and kept me in total suspense. The cliffhanger at the end of each chapter made me want to continue reading and find out what happens next. You  have to read this book to experience the vivid imagery, emotion, and intriguing storyline.
