Deadly Cool By Gemma Halliday

There was nowhere to turn; the smell of death was all around me. People I knew were being consumed and I was next. Imagine how you would feel if this was YOU.
A teenage girl named Hartley and her friends have to find out who is responsible for the killing of two girls in their town. They sneak around doing detective work to try to find the killer. They come face to face with death to survive sticky situations. Will the bond of friendship guide them through this treacherous hunt or will someone be harmed? You’ll have to read Deadly Cool by Gemma Halliday to find out.
This book is a page-turner and I couldn’t put it down. I would recommend it to any girls who love a thrilling, modern, mystery book. My favorite genre is mystery so it appeals to me. I could visualize the adventurous twists and turns in my head. Overall, it was an amazing  and suspenseful ride.

Among the Imposters Blog By Margaret Peterson Haddix

Every breath you take is another breath you are not aloud to take. Every government official’s job is to find you and kill you. You haven’t been outside in years because your mother fears they will find you. You are a third child and you are illegal. What would you do?
This is how daily life is for Luke, a third child who’s been in hiding ever since he was born. You may be wondering what a third child is? Well, in this book, it is illegal to have more than two children, so they call them a “third child” or “shadow children.”   Luke, for the first time, goes to boarding school. With his fake ID in hand, he sets off to discover the secrets’ at Hendricks’s School for Boys.
I prescribe this book to anyone hankering for mystery with a twist of science fiction.  The book takes you on a roller coaster ride, unlocks secrets, solves mysteries, and opens a door to government lies. Every twist and turn reveals a new shocking secret. One day Luke will be minding his own business and the next he is getting questioned by his peers. The writing style is amazing. It allows you to visualize the story. You can connect with the struggles and the mystery. Who doesn’t like a mystery that desperately needs to be solved?

Destined By PC and Kristin Cast

If it were up to you to save all of humanity, what would you do? What if you only had the affinities of Spirit, Fire, Water, Earth, and Air by your side? This is what Zoey Redbird needs to do in the House of Night series by PC and Kristin Cast. It is up to Zoey Redbird, a fledgling high priestess in the House of Night. Zoey is really special, she was chosen to be fledgling high priestess, but she has to convert entirely into a vampire before doing so. Her body can reject the change and therefore have her die, but her body could accept the conversion and become a really powerful high priestess. There is one complication yet to deal with. There is an ancient darkness that has been growing stronger of the last three centuries and Zoey is destined to go up against it. The only problem is if she can win or not.
I think this book and the entire series has been very pleasing. The Casts kept me hooked over and over again, which I thought was a really good thing with their writing style; it also helps you understand how the characters feel so you can almost feel the emotions in them.
A lot of questions ran through my head and here are some of them. She does have her friends by her side, but will they last? What will happen to them if they lose the big battle? Find out by reading the series House of Night. The first book is Marked where it all starts leading up to the most important battle in history.

The Notebook By Nicholas Sparks

Seeing the boy you fell in love with a decade ago would most likely be nerve racking, shocking, and maybe even old feelings would revert back. In a classic love story, The Notebook, by Nicholas Sparks, Allie and Noah, old lovebirds, reunite. Years ago, Noah stole Allie’s heart and swept her off of her feet. She returns to North Carolina to inform Noah of something, and before you know it, old feelings fly back within a blink of an eye. Will Allie and Noah fall in love all over again? The only way to find out is to read this favorable romance.
What if Allie and Noah fall in love again? What if they get married? What if they argue and emerge as enemies? These thoughts keep me on the edge of my seat at all times. This heart-felt romance novel had me persistently wanting to delve into the story because I couldn’t wait to see what happened in the outcome of Allie and Noah’s relationship. I would recommend this story to girls that enjoy reading classic, warm love stories. The Notebook will touch you heart, make you laugh and smile, and maybe even cry. I also recommend this to any Nicholas Sparks fans because, in my opinion, this is one of his preeminent books. It has a slight bit of every element, which is what makes it such an intriguing story. The Notebook is a cute and classic romance that will blow you away.
