       If you were lost in the jungle alone, no help, little food and even a smaller chance of survival what would you do?well Brian awoken from a concussion asked himself how he got there, the last thing he remembered was in the plane with the pilot.Then it had hit him he had crashed, and Brian not being a survival specialist and only our age got scared out of his mind.he dealt through the first 3 days expecting to be found by then but he was still stranded.So his intelligence led him to creating a shelter witch didn't hold trough the storms he with lasted from staying stranded and lost for months.Finally Brian was found, alive and well.
        Throughout this reading i was always asking my self is he gonna make it, how much does he have to go through and are they even looking for him. But no matter what i was thinking Brian did the opposite an example was when he got rammed by the moose i thought he was gonna give up but he didn't. I think that part of him getting up and dusting himself off is a big reason to his survival. thats also why i liked the book because it was a page turner because i always was wondering when Brian was gonna give up.overall this is a book for anyone including you.

The Child Called "It" by Dave Pelzer

         This memoir is all about a bad mother that can't stop beating on her child. This poor child is nothing but a slave to his mother. He survives with little food, little clothing, sleeps in the basement, tortured by his mother and picked on at school. This child is not the only one in the house. His brothers are treated like royalty. Because his mother beats on him so much the rest of his family got used to it and it is normal for them. This child tries to go to his dad for help but every time his father steps in it only leads to an unhappy wife and makes the torture even worst.
         I loved this book because it kept me wanting to read more because of the magnificent detail that was giving. Even though the book has some heart breaking parts because of the torture this child is put through you won't be able to put it down. I also loved this book because it makes you think the unthinkable. You can start reading this great book now and open your heart to the life of Dave Pelzer!

The Last Olympian by: Rick Riordan

What if you and your friends are depended on to save the world from an evil titan and his army? The book that I read was The Last Olympian by: Rick Riordan. In this book Percy and his friends have to stop an evil titan without the help of the Greek gods because they are out fighting a giant storm named Typhoon. During this war Percy will fight with his camp as an army. This book takes place in New York City. In New York another thing Percy has to worry about is the Empire State Building because Mount Olympus is at the top. If Kronos gets to Mount Olympus and destroys it then the gods will die. And when the gods die the world will be over run by titans.

I thought that this book was written really well because it kept me interested page by page. The first reason I loved this book was because I liked learning about Greek mythology. The second reason I loved this book was there was a whole series leading up to this book, so to understand this book you have to read the other books. The third reason I loved this book was because during the story there was no point where I got bored and wanted to give up reading. I don't usually like reading but every time I picked up this book I was excited to read it. In conclusion this book is a great read and if you like fantasy then you will like it even more.

Hoot by: Carl Hiassen

 If there are a bunch of owl dens where a pancake house is going to be constructed, but the project will continue.  Well, this is what happens after in the early or mid-2000’s in Coconut, Florida, Roy Eberhardt meets a mysterious, shoeless adolescent nicknamed Mullet Fingers, and finds out about this situation.  Mullet Fingers has escaped society to not get sent to a juvenile detention center again, or not live with his family that he despises.  Now, Roy, Mullet Fingers, and Mullet Finger’s stepsister have to stop this building project and protect Mullet Fingers from being discovered.

            I like Roy Eberhardt because he is a kind adolescent. He knows what is right and what is not.  Also, I like how he is not willing to tell on Mullet Fingers even though he breaks the law, but he is doing what is right for the owls.  Roy does not enjoy Florida, and he wishes that he was back in Montana.  This is the latest place that he has moved, so he does not have many acquaintances at school. 

I would recommend this book for anyone who is 10 to fifteen years of age because all of the main characters are around that age, so the readers can relate to them, and Hoot is not a book that is just a book that is for girls or guys.  If you want to find out if the owls can be rescued and if Mullet Fingers will remain hidden, then you have to read Carl Hiassen’s Hoot.

 Life is pretty strange......but for a twelve year old boy who has autism,it's more than strange.....it's unfair.Twelve year old Jason is constantly made fun of because of his strange behavior and actions.On the outside,he looks ike a normal boy, but his strange behavior makes him stand out in any crowd.The only time when Jason can be himself is when he writes.Jason starts to write stories and posts them on an online program called StoryBoard.On Storyboard,you can post your own stories and recieve feedback from other StoryBoard writers.Jason meets PheonixBird online(her real name is Rebecca) and he starts to think of her as a friend.Then Jason discovers that he will be going to the same StoryBoard convention as Rebecca!As much as Jason wants to see her,Jason becomes scared thn that she will only see his autism and won't bother to see who he really is.
          The main character in this book was Jason. Jason's unique thinking and poetic words made him a very interesting character.Jason changed alot throughout this book because in the begginning of the book he was a shy and quiet character who wasn't sure of himself but towards the end,even though he remained quiet most of the time,Jason became more confiident.I would recomend this book to readers who like books that adress topics that have to do with autism or other life changing disorders that many children have.The reason why is that this book is all about life from an autistic boy's point of view.Overall, this was a GGRREAT book and will definitely leave you satisfied.
